Make it Count with Environmental Sustainability Qualifications
Sustainability has been a major topic of discussion in international competition and consumer for a like the OECD, the International Competition Network (ICN), the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network (ICPEN) and UNCTAD.
Ofsted’s Common Inspection Framework also makes explicit reference to sustainable development in learning and skills inspections as referenced in our Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change Strategy blog.
Education plays a vital role in:
- helping to tackle climate change
- creating a better, greener world for future generations
We can positively impact, influence and inspire communities by improving:
- the sustainability of the environment in and around education settings
- students’ knowledge and understanding of the key issues
But where to start?
AIM’s Level 1 Award in Environmental Sustainability introduces the key issues in sustainability and helps learners to make sustainable choices. The qualification can be used as an induction programme or as part of a wider vocational context eg study programmes, apprenticeship or traineeships etc.
