This qualification will support the development of learners’ instructional and presentation skills as well as developing their knowledge of violence reduction skills.
This qualification will support the development of learners’ instructional and presentation skills as well as developing their knowledge of violence reduction skills.
The development of learner skills and knowledge will support their progress and professional development enabling them to deal with a wide range of patient/inmate behaviours. This qualification will contribute to raising the standards of violence reduction skills training nationally, reducing risk to both staff and patients.
This qualification has been developed in partnership with staff working in secure environments within the NHS. This qualification may assist learners in gaining promotion within the workplace.
To achieve this qualification learners must complete all the essential components (see Qualification Specification).
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Working with Gangs and Youth Violence
The AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Working with Gangs and Youth Violence provides learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills to be able to work with young people involved in violent behaviour or activities and with young people in gang impacted environments.
AIM Qualifications Level 4 Diploma in Instructing and Presenting Violence Reduction Skills
This qualification will support the development of learners’ instructional and presentation skills as well as developing their knowledge of violence reduction skills.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Advocacy for Working with Survivors of Sexual Violence
This qualification is for those who work as an Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) or support those who have experienced sexual violence and abuse.
