For an NVQ qualification, learners must be employed in an appropriate role in the workplace to be able to generate evidence of competence.
This National Vocational Qualification has been developed with CITB in line with the relevant National Occupational Standards (NOS).
It offers learners the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and practical skills in preparing resources for and installing sheeting and cladding systems on roofs in the workplace.
Learners may progress to further qualifications in the same or related areas such as one of the other pathways at Level 2 in Cladding Operations or a Level 3 qualification such as Occupational Work Supervision.

This qualification offers learners the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and practical skills in preparing surfaces for painting and applying paint systems by brush.
