The AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Skills for Life and Work Qualification provides learners with the knowledge of safeguarding in both work situations and in daily life.
They will gain an understanding of what is meant by safeguarding and the risks and duty of care associated with
it. They will also develop their knowledge of the different sources of help and support that can be accessed in the form of information advice or guidance. Learners will also gain an understanding of the important nature of discloser and the procedures and protocols for dealing with this.
This qualification is aimed at anyone who requires an understanding of risk, safeguarding and duty of care in their work environment/daily lives or to increase their chances of employment in certain sectors.
To achieve this qualification learners must complete all the essential components (see Qualification Specification).
