The AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Managing Own Learning and Development is designed to support learners moving onto
independent learning. Learners will be able to identify and measure their skills and plan for further skills development.
Learners will also explore learning environments to ensure that they understand how they learn best and can plan to develop their knowledge and skills, taking advantage of any information, advice, guidance and support available to them.
This qualification has been designed to enable learners to gain maximum benefit from a programme of study, prepare for further study or employment and manage own learning and development.
To achieve this qualification learners must complete all the essential components (see Qualification Specification).

This qualification is aimed at learners who may benefit from alternative approaches to curriculum and learning as the flexibility of assessment allows them to generate evidence in a range of ways.
AIM Qualifications Award in English Language Skills
This qualification has been designed in partnership with Imperial English to provide an ESOL qualification for those learners who use online applications and/or platforms to study and assess their English Language skills.
