The AIM Qualifications Entry Level Award in Managing Own Learning and Development is designed to support learners moving onto independent learning. Learners will be able to identify and measure their skills and plan for further skills development.
Learners will also explore learning environments to ensure that they understand how they learn best and can plan
to develop their knowledge and skills, taking advantage of any information, advice, guidance and support available to them.
The qualification has been designed to enable learners to gain maximum benefit from a programme of study, prepare for further study or employment and manage own learning and development.
To achieve this qualification learners must complete all the essential components (see Qualification Specification).
AIM Qualifications Entry Level Award in Academic English Language Skills (Entry 3)
This qualification has been designed in partnership with Imperial English to equip learners with the skills required to study in English. With learning and assessment designed around the use of spoken and written English skills in a range of academic settings.
AIM Qualifications Entry Level Award in Developing Independent Living Skills (Entry 3)
The AIM Qualifications Entry Level Award in Developing Independent Living Skills (Entry 3) addresses the needs of learners working at Entry Level or with English as an Additional Language.
AIM Qualifications Entry Level Award in Dog Training and Husbandry (Entry 3)
This qualification has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding to pursue a career in canine care.
AIM Qualifications Entry Level Award in Employability and Development Skills (Entry 3)
This qualification has been designed to allow learners who are ready to enter the workplace to find a relevant, appropriate vocational area, and give them opportunity to develop essential personal development and employability skills along with specific vocationally-related skills in a simulated or real work environment.
