This qualification has been designed to provide learners with in-depth knowledge and understanding of applied canine behaviour management and training. It provides the underpinning knowledge and practical skills to develop a career in canine behaviour management and training.
Learners will need to complete 6 days (36 hours) of Practical Training to develop the skills required to undertake the role of a Canine Behaviour Practitioner. Learners will also develop the knowledge to understand the influence of the internal and external environment on canine behaviour, and how to work with aggressive cases.
Learners will also develop the knowledge to teach others and form effective client relationships
Learners will be able to progress into employment within the animal care sector. They will also be able to progress onto a Level 6 Applied Canine Behaviour Management qualification or other relevant, higher study.

AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare
This qualification has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills to be able to work in the field of canine care providing kennelling, home or day care for canines of all breeds and sizes.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Certificate in Canine Nutrition
This short knowledge-based qualification consists of three units relating to canine diet, nutrition and behaviour.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Canine Massage
By looking at canine anatomy and physiology, practical application of practical massage skills, business skills and canine behaviour in therapeutic settings, learners will be prepared to enter the field of professional canine massage practice, or progress to further learning in canine and animal massage therapy.
AIM Qualifications Level 6 Diploma in Applied Canine Behaviour Management
This qualification has been designed to provide learners with in-depth knowledge and understanding of applied canine behaviour management and training.
