This qualification is aimed at anyone who wishes to carry out an information and advice support role (in the context of welfare support and related services).
By studying this qualification, learners will:
Learners may progress into volunteering or employed roles which provide information and advice in the context of welfare support services, or into further learning such as Level 2 Award and Certificate in Delivering Information, Advice or Guidance, for those who deliver information and/or advice as part of their role.

AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Delivering Information, Advice or Guidance
This qualification covers the key aspects of the role such as effective listening skills, client confidentiality, data protection, referral and signposting.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Delivering Information, Advice or Guidance
This qualification helps learner develop effective practice in area of IAG.
AIM Qualifications Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
The Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is aimed at support classroom and teaching assistants in schools who directly support teachers in the teaching and learning of pupils.
AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Welfare Support Information and Advice
This qualification is aimed at anyone who wishes to carry out an information and advice support role (in the context of welfare support and related services).
