This qualification is designed to support staff to deliver education and training on the Prevent Duty, as well as promoting an inclusivity culture through the following of British Values.
It will equip learners with the knowledge to know what is meant by the Prevent Duty and how to respond to concerns for their wellbeing. Learners will be able to refer any concerns to an appropriate individual if they perceive a risk to themselves of radicalisation. Learners can apply this knowledge to their current learning environment or work experiences.
Through exploring the British Values learners will start to understand how to promote an inclusivity culture and how this can protect young people from radicalisation and exploitation. Learner will be able to identify steps to take if there is a breach in British Values.
This qualification is suitable for those need to develop an awareness of Prevent Duty and can then progress to a deeper understanding.
