This qualification has been designed to be used flexibly to meet the needs of learners who are involved in working with young people in a mentoring role.
Learners may progress to higher level qualifications in a related area or into volunteering work working with young people.
To be awarded the AIM Qualifications Level 1 Award in Mentoring Skills for Working with Young People, learners must achieve:

The Diploma provides opportunity for learners to acquire and develop knowledge and skills needed to progress to higher education study and also enables learners to develop social and emotional skills such as communication and confidence.
AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Introduction to Counselling Skills
This qualification will enable learners to develop their knowledge of the counselling profession, looking at the role of professional frameworks/codes of conduct and the core personal qualities that enable competent counsellors.
