AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Introduction to Warehousing

By providing a combination of job search and interview skills with basic teamworking, manual handling and communication skills, the Level 2 Award in Introduction to Warehousing prepares learners for temporary or permanent placement in a warehousing environment.

On successful completion of the Level 2 Award in Introduction to Warehousing, learners may move directly into employment in a warehousing environment, or they may progress to higher levels of learning in this or other related sectors.

To be awarded the AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Introduction to Warehousing, learners must achieve:

• 11 credits from the Mandatory units
• No optional units

Quality Assurance Requirements

Tutors:

To offer this qualification, centres must ensure that tutors hold or are working towards:

• A relevant level 4 qualification in in teaching, training or assessment
• Demonstrable professional experience of working in warehousing

Internal Quality Assurer (IQA):

Centres must also ensure that they have in place an Internal Quality Assurance person who:

• Holds or is working towards a Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices or its equivalent.
• Has substantial experience of working in or assessing qualifications in warehousing.
• Is familiar with the assessment requirements of the qualification for which they are the Internal Quality Assurer.
