This qualification has been designed to allow learners who are ready to enter the workplace to find a relevant, appropriate vocational area, and give them opportunity to develop essential personal development and employability skills along with specific vocationally-related skills in a simulated or real work environment.
Successful completion of this qualification will prepare learners to move into their first paid or unpaid role, or to take on a Traineeship and will support them in gaining or working towards full Level 2 qualifications or relevant apprenticeships.
Learners can progress directly into employment or study at a higher level e.g. AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Employability and Development Skills.

AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Employability
This qualification is designed to prepare learners for the workplace and to develop generic skills that are transferable to any sector.
AIM Qualifications Level 1 Award in Personal and Social Development Skills
This qualification will support learners to become confident individuals who are physically, emotionally and socially healthy, be responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society and embrace change and managing risk together with their own well-being.
AIM Qualifications Level 4 Certificate Professional Development (Youth Work)
The qualification is designed for those engaged directly in Youth Work or through multi-agency work, such as social workers, police officers, emergency services, teachers and those who work within the youth service.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Employability and Leadership Skills
The AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Employability and Leadership Skills offers a flexible approach to study. Learners have access to a large range of employability and leadership skills units that are directly linked to the workplace.
