This qualification has been designed to provide the underpinning theory and practical skills to allow learners to move into the role of a Retrofit Assessor. The qualification enables learners to meet the requirements of the Retrofit industry standard PAS 2035 and includes practical property assessments to ensure competency.
This qualification is suitable for those currently holding a Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessment, who may wish to work in the related field of Retrofit Assessment.
On successful completion of the AIM Qualifications Level 4 Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment, learners may progress directly into employment as a Retrofit Assessor or progress onto higher learning in the Retrofit field, such as the AIM Qualifications Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management.

AIM Qualifications Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
To train and qualify a cadre of retrofit Coordinators capable of managing domestic retrofit projects in accordance with the requirements of PAS 2035, with a focus on construction site managers, project managers, site managers and assistant site managers.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice
This qualification is aimed at people working in similar roles providing advice to customers about their properties, such as liaison officers, retrofit advisors, energy advisors. This qualification is also suitable for those with Retrofit experience or a recognised Retrofit qualification.
AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit
The qualification is useful for those in trades where retrofit is directly applicable for example, plasterer, heat pump installer or solar panel installer or as an introduction for those wishing to pursue a career in domestic retrofit advice or co-ordination.
AIM Qualifications Level 5 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit (Scotland)
This qualification is designed for learners who either want to work in the retrofit section of the construction industry or who are already working in the construction industry and want to move into retrofit activities.
