The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with basic knowledge of an aspect of small animal hydrotherapy.
This qualification enables learner to develop knowledge of Advanced Aquatic Treadmill Therapy. The qualification includes the opportunity for learners to develop skills in conducting gait analysis, and the application of Advanced Aquatic Treadmill Techniques. Learners will develop an understanding of Biomechanics and be able to review patient performance and their own performance.
Learners will have completed an industry recognised Level 3 Certificate in Small Animal Hydrotherapy, without Aquatic Units within the completed qualification. They will also have completed the AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Aquatic Treadmill Therapy for Small Animals.
This qualification will enable learners to progress to employment or higher level of study in the animal care sector.

AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Aquatic Treadmill Therapy for Small Animals
The aim of this qualification is to provide learners with basic knowledge of an aspect of small animal hydrotherapy.
AIM Qualifications Level 1 Award in Skills for Working in Animal Care Industries
This qualification covers different areas of animal care, including general animal care, horse care, canine care, farm animal care and bird care.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Small Animal Care and Welfare
This qualification offers learners the opportunity to gain knowledge and practical skills to look after small animals. They will gain knowledge of first aid that is applied to animals and the welfare needs of animals. Small animals refers to domestic animals such as: dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, and similar sized animals.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Certificate for Animal Licensing Inspectors (England)
This qualification consists of four components covering a wide breadth of knowledge and skills in animal welfare in a range of species that exist in animal care establishments.
