This practical skills based qualification equips learners with all the necessary skills and confidence to go on to make high quality hand sewn window treatments and soft furnishings.
This qualification includes the design and making of curtains, Roman blinds, London blinds, upholstered pelmets, swags & tails, cushions and trimmings. The qualifications enable learners to develop new skills and to enhance existing skills by learning professional techniques.
This is Level 3 qualification and will suit a wide range of abilities from beginners to those wishing to set up and run their own soft furnishing business. It has been written and structured to link technical and practical skills with creative skills that will appeal to a broad range of learners.

AIM Qualifications Level 1 Certificate Visual Art
This qualification provides knowledge, understanding and skills for learners to contribute to Visual Art Activities. This qualification gives learners flexibility to sample different creative areas, rather than specialise too early.
Access to HE Diploma (Art and Design)
This level 3 Access to HE Diploma is regulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and is designed to prepare learners without traditional qualifications for entry into Higher Education (HE). The Diploma provides an opportunity for learners to acquire and develop knowledge and skills needed to progress to higher education study and enables learners to develop social and emotional skills such as communication and confidence.
