DC Web is helping us deliver a smarter, more accessible approach to Certification

Earlier this year we transitioned to using DC Web for issuing both Paper and Digital Certificates. This gives Providers and Learners a more secure, faster, greener and flexible way to manage achievement – without changing the value or recognition of their Qualifications.

From October 2026 we are moving to an opt in approach for Paper Certificates, with Digital Certification being the default.

Providers can choose to opt in to continue to receive Paper Certificates by completing this form here. This will come into effect from October 2026. Please ensure you have completed the form before 31st August 2026. There will be an administration charge to cover the cost of post and packaging.

Here’s how DC Web supports Providers

-Digital Certification reduces paper use and creates a smoother administrative workflow – supporting more sustainable education practices

-All named Certification Provider contacts will receive notification when the Digital Certificates are available to view

-Providers can then release Digital Certificates to their Learners – email addresses will need to be supplied either at registration or can be added at this point

-Guidance for Provider staff on using DC Web is available on Quartzweb under Resources and our Customer Experience Team will also support with any queries

-Full guidance on Quartzweb is also available for Providers to share with their Learners on how to use the DC Web Platform.

Here’s how DC Web supports Learners

-Learners will receive an email notification when Digital Certificates are released by the Provider (as long as an email address has been supplied)

-If Learners have achieved their Qualification through a Provider that is Digital Certificates only, they will have the option to order a Paper Certificate through DC Web, and will need to cover the postage costs

-Digital Certificates are stored on the secure platform and can access them at any time to view and share

-All Certificates contain a SmartVerify+ code to verify the achievement is valid

-Learners can share their Digital Certificate securely via the connections area, helping Learners progress quickly into work, further study or new opportunities

-The enhanced security features of the Digital Certificates on DC Web allow AIM to further safeguard Learners’ achievements against Certification fraud, and therefore they are only valid when accessed via the Digital Certificate platform

A streamlined Certification journey designed for Providers and Learners.

Our Customer Experience Team is on hand to assist Providers and Learners with queries, ensuring a confident and easy transition to Digital Certification. You can email them at enquiries@aimgroup.org.uk.
