NextGen Skills Academy Graduate Showcase
We had a fantastic day at the NextGen Skills Academy Graduate Showcase 2026, celebrating the incredible work of Learners completing their programmes in Games, Animation and Visual Effects.
The showcase provided an opportunity to see first-hand the creativity, technical ability and passion that Learners have developed throughout their studies. From innovative game concepts and immersive digital experience,s to impressive animation and visual effects projects, the quality of work on display was truly inspiring.
It was great to see so many talented and ambitious individuals coming together to share ideas, showcase their achievements and build connections for future careers. Events such as the Graduate Showcase demonstrate the value of bringing education and industry closer together, helping Learners gain the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in the creative sector.
As a Qualification and Assessment Organisation, we are proud to support pathways that help Learners prepare for progression into higher education, apprenticeships and employment. The showcase reflected the positive impact that high-quality education and industry collaboration can have on Learner development and career readiness.
A big thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us throughout the event. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many talented Learners and hearing about their journeys, achievements and aspirations for the future.

Level 3 Diplomas in Games, Animation and VFX Skills
One example of this is our partnership with NextGen Skills Academy, which supports delivery of the Level 3 Diploma in Games, Animation and VFX Skills. The Qualification has been designed to help providers deliver industry-relevant provision that meets employer needs while equipping Learners with practical, hands-on experience and technical skills.
Through the partnership, providers can enrich curriculum delivery by embedding structured industry engagement into learning programmes. Learners benefit from opportunities to work on live briefs, receive feedback from industry professionals and build high-quality portfolios that support progression into the sector.
The Qualification is supported by world-leading studios, including Industrial Light & Magic, Blue Zoo, Framestore and Creative Assembly, giving Learners valuable industry insight and experience. Learners also have access to three remote work experience placements each year, alongside opportunities to showcase their work at the annual NextGen Graduate Showcase.
Providers are supported through a range of resources and development opportunities, including Schemes of Work, case studies, workshops, direct contact with experienced teams and bespoke CPD opportunities led by industry experts. At a time of financial uncertainty, this fully funded Level 3 vocational qualification also supports forward planning and sustainable curriculum design.
