At Hugh Baird College, we work with a diverse range of learners, including many with SEND and SEMH needs, so it’s important that the qualifications we deliver are engaging, flexible and support individual progression goals.
Our relationship with AIM has been excellent from the outset. The team are always approachable, helpful and easy to work with, which has made the learner journey and qualification delivery straightforward. As someone who has recently moved into my first year as a Course Lead, the support from AIM has been invaluable and has genuinely made my role easier.
We chose to deliver AIM qualifications following a very positive experience with the Youth Work qualification. We were impressed by the quality of the qualification, the flexibility of delivery and the way it supported learners to develop practical skills alongside their personal growth.
One of the biggest benefits for our learners is how well the qualifications align with many of their EHCP outcomes. The units help learners build confidence, communication skills, independence and employability skills, all of which are key areas of development for the young people we support.
The best thing about AIM qualifications is the wide range of opportunities and choices available. This allows us to tailor learning programmes to meet individual learner interests, strengths and aspirations, helping to keep learners motivated and engaged.
The support provided by the AIM team is outstanding. Whether it’s training, guidance or answering questions, the team are always on hand to help and ensure we feel confident in delivering the qualifications effectively.
We have seen learners make excellent progress through their AIM programmes. Many have gone on to further study within the college, while others have developed clearer career aspirations and greater independence. The qualifications have played an important role in helping learners understand their future opportunities and take positive steps towards employment and adulthood.
