Learners must achieve the 30 GLH from the Mandatory Group, plus a further 60 GLH from the Optional Group. A minimum of 60 GLH must be achieved at Level 4. If additional components are achieved at Level 4 or 5 beyond the requirement of this qualification’s rule of combination, the additional named components will appear on the learner’s certificate.

AIM Qualifications Level 2 Award in Youth Work Principles (England)
This qualification is designed to be an introductory qualification to enable learners to understand the principles of working with young people in a range of youth work settings.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work Practice (England)
This qualification is suitable for employees who deliver operational youth work and who undertake duties on their own initiative or who have supervisory responsibility for small projects, such as one night a week clubs.
AIM Qualifications Certificate Youth Work Practice (England)
This qualification is for employees who assist in the delivery of operational youth work and undertake duties under direction of a qualified practitioner, where initiative and independent action is limited.
AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Working with Gangs and Youth Violence
The AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Working with Gangs and Youth Violence provides learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills to be able to work with young people involved in violent behaviour or activities and with young people in gang impacted environments.
