This qualification is designed to help learners develop skills and knowledge in personal and social skills. It will support learners to become confident individuals who are physically, emotionally, and socially healthy, be responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society and embrace change and managing risk together with their own well-being.
This qualification will allow learners to develop knowledge in areas around study, mathematics, literacy, and science, appropriate for use by mainstream establishments for students aged 14-19, and for adults. The qualification will also play a major role in rewarding achievement within the non-formal sector.#
The qualification has been designed to support learners to build on their knowledge and skills. Learners may progress onto higher level qualifications or into employment.
