More than 2,500 adults achieved an AIM Access to HE Diploma this year, with 2,270 progressing into higher education, demonstrating the significant impact AIM Qualifications and Assessment continues to make in widening participation and creating pathways to opportunity.
As one of the UK’s leading Access Validating Agencies (AVAs), AIM works with Providers nationwide to support adult Learners in accessing higher education, developing new skills and progressing towards professional careers. This year’s outcomes highlight both the scale of AIM’s Access to HE provision and its growing contribution to Learners, communities and the future workforce.
Creating Opportunities at Scale
For many adults, Access to HE provides a second chance at education and an opportunity to pursue ambitions that may once have felt out of reach.
This year:
- 2,505 Learners achieved an AIM Access to HE Diploma
- 2,270 Learners are progressing into higher education
- 345 Learners received partial achievement awards recognising meaningful progress towards their goals
These outcomes represent thousands of individuals taking the next step towards university, higher-level study, apprenticeships and professional careers.
Many Learners have balanced study alongside employment, family commitments and caring responsibilities. Their success demonstrates the transformative power of adult learning in building confidence, unlocking potential and creating opportunities for long-term career progression.
