This qualification will support learners to become confident individuals who are physically, emotionally and socially healthy, be responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society and embrace change and managing risk together with their own well-being.
This qualification also allows learners to develop knowledge in areas around study, mathematics, literacy and science, appropriate for use by mainstream establishments for students aged 14-19, and for adults.
These qualifications play a major role in rewarding achievement within the non-formal sector and have been designed to support learners to build on their knowledge and skills. Learners may progress onto higher level qualifications or into employment.
