For some people, engaging in professional development, training or further qualifications is difficult, particularly those who have been out of education for some time. The support of a peer mentor increases the likelihood of these people completing their professional development activities which in turn helps an organisation retain and progress staff
This qualification gives peer mentors a greater understanding of their role. They will also learn how to identify and use information about learning styles to develop suitable learning activities and how to develop and implement a peer mentoring plan
Having achieved this qualification, learners may go on to study further qualifications in mentoring, education or training, or to progress within management and supervisory roles within the workplace.
*IMPORTANT NOTICE* AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group is not a training provider and is unable to provide careers advice on specific courses or qualifications.
