About this qualification

This qualification is being withdrawn. The qualification will close for registrations on 31/01/2023. Learners will still have until 31/01/2024 to certificate.

The AIM Qualifications Level 2 and Level 3 Awards in Delivering Information, Advice or Guidance underpin the knowledge and skills of practitioners who already deliver IAG. The qualifications enable learners to receive acknowledgement for their learning and provide a firm foundation for progressing onto the Level 2 Certificate.

Objectives of the qualification

The Level 2 qualifications can:

  • Prepare learners to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level or requiring more specific knowledge, skills and understanding
  • Prepare for employment in a broad occupational area
  • Prepare for employment in a specific occupational area
