This qualification has been designed to provide an introduction to business administration skills for those learners looking to move onto a Business Administration apprenticeship, or to prepare themselves to move into a Business Administration role.
By allowing learners to develop a range of administration-related skills, this qualification prepares learners for roles such as Personal Assistant, Administrative Supervisor or Administration Team Leader.
Must hold formal qualifications at Level 2 or equivalent.
Learners who achieve the AIM Qualifications Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration may progress onto other administration-related qualifications at a higher level, or directly into employment.

To be awarded the AIM Qualifications Level 3 Award in Business Administration, learners must achieve:
- a minimum of 38 credits from any combination of units in Optional Group A

Portfolio of evidence.
Tutors:
To offer this qualification, centres must ensure that tutors hold or are working towards:
- A relevant teaching/assessing qualification at Level 3 or above such as the Level 3 Certificate in Education and Training
- A qualification at Level 4 or above in Business Administration or related subjects, or demonstrable relevant industry experience in Business Administration or related subjects
- Experience of assessing via a Portfolio of Evidence
Internal Quality Assurer (IQA):
Centres must also ensure that they have in place an Internal Quality Assurance person who:
- Holds or is working towards a Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices or its equivalent
- Has substantial experience of working in or assessing qualifications in Business Administration or related subjects
- Is familiar with the assessment requirements of the qualification for which they are the Internal Quality Assurer
