AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group qualifications and customised accreditation units are normally assessed through centre-devised assessment tasks. This provides recognised centres with the flexibility to assess learners in ways which best suits their needs, increasing their chances of success.
AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group supports this flexible approach to assessment by providing a framework of guidance and training to recognised centres in order to ensure that learner-centred assessment activity is valid and consistent.

Further details on this can be found in our Recognition of Prior Learning and Achievement Policy which is available on our policies and procedures page. If you wish to apply for RPL, then you will need to complete the Claim Form for Recognition of Prior Learning and send it to our compliance team.
Centres with learners whose needs cannot be accommodated within the assessment methods detailed in the 'Assessment Methods' booklet are referred to the Reasonable Adjustments and Special Considerations Policy, available on our policies and procedures page.
