FAB Award Winners

We are delighted to announce a double success at the FAB Awards on 30 November, hosted by the Federation of Awarding Bodies. Our congratulations go to Emma McNaught - Learner of the Year, and to the Home Group for AO/Employer Relationship of the Year.

AO/Employer Relationship of the Year - Home Group

AIM has been working with Home Group, one of the UK's largest social housing associations, for the past 18 months to provide a bespoke accreditation framework for the tenant learning and development programme offered by the Home Group. AIM has a suite of 45 bespoke units of accreditation that have been developed to create the 'Home Achievement Programme' that is completed by circa 900 social housing tenants every year through classroom based learning. AIM assists in marketing and promotion of the Home Achievement Programme and more recently the Home Achievement (online) Academy.

AIM and the Home Group have demonstrated a successful collaboration that has developed excellent practice in supporting a marginalised and often under-represented community of people (social housing tenants). The collaboration has introduced leading-edge ideas through the use of technology and sustainable learning strategies for the benefit of tenant learners which positively impacts their life and work chances.

This collaboration epitomises Home Group's values about '... doing the right thing for customers, communities, and the planet! Our values mean that our approach to becoming an even more sustainable business is caring, commercial, accountable and energised.' The collaboration also demonstrates AIMs firm vision to Empower Futures through education and skills and demonstrates lifelong learning and opportunities for all in a modern and successful partnership. "I am thrilled that Emma and the Home Group  have been recognised for their outstanding achievements in these sector-leading awards, they are truly deserving winners.
