Twice the size, twice the choice and with double the knowledge and experience

Since their merger in September 2022, Open College Network West Midlands and AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group, have operated as two separate Access Validating Agencies (AVAs). However, on 31 July 2023 the Open College Network West Midlands’ licence was surrendered and their Access to HE providers were transferred to the AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group AVA license.

As a result we now have almost 500 Access to HE courses available, making AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group one of the leading AVAs in England and Wales.

The two legacy organisations’ specialist Access to HE teams have been combined giving AIM centres access to a larger pool of expertise and knowledge.

New Free Resource Pack

We are pleased to announce that as of 1 August 2023, AIM has introduced an exciting and exclusive Resource Pack for AIM recognised centres delivering Access to HE Diplomas.

In addition to our usual support and advice, AIM now offers all AIM recognised centres delivering Access to HE Diplomas a free Resource Pack with:

• Access to HE Toolkit: Up-to-date information, stats and advice to support recruitment

• Printed recruitment material: Posters to support student recruitment
