We begin the new academic year, welcoming our new Director of Business, Andy Coxon, and Director of Quality, Debbie Jump.
Andy has experience of Business Development in both the private and FE sectors. He recently worked for a large college group with his most recent role on the OLASS 4 contract. Andy has wide knowledge of both business management and curriculum areas.
“I am delighted to have joined AIM Awards at this challenging time in the FE sector, I am looking forward to working closely with the Executive Group to ensure AIM Awards maintains and grows whilst continuing to achieve its mission to be friendly, flexible and fair. I intend to spend a considerable amount of time meeting with recognised centres listening to what they say, enabling us to meet their needs.”
Debbie has worked predominantly in education all of her adult life. She has experience of working in FE and more recently for our regulator Ofqual. Debbie’s experience ranges from customer engagement and marketing to complaints, investigations, recognition and compliance. Debbie was involved in the recognition of awarding organisations to deliver GCSE 9-1.
“Joining AIM Awards at this time is both exciting and challenging and I am looking forward to working with the team to build on the high standards we set. I will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Assurance of our approved centres and working with them to make sure ours and their expectations are met.”
