AIM Supports Keith Fletcher Memorial National Access Prize
11 March 2015
The Keith Fletcher Memorial National Access Prize was created after the tragic passing of Mr Fletcher, formerly the Director of OCN South West Region and a great supporter of Access to Higher Education.
During the 2010/11 academic year, a group of AVA’s agreed to award prizes to Access students that had been nominated by Access providers across the country. Following the success of the first award ceremony it was decided to develop the award into an annual ceremony. Today the Keith Fletcher Prize is supported by all 12 AVA’s in England and Wales.
Providers are invited to nominate one Access student on courses in the academic year of 2015/16 for the categories of Outstanding Academic Achievement and Outstanding Commitment to Study. The Keith Fletcher Memorial National Access Prize for 2015/16 is supported by AIM Awards and all other AVA’s
AIM Awards will announce when nominations are open for the 2015/16 prizes but if you would like further information, please contact Ian Hartley at Ian.hartley@aimawards.org.uk
