World Health Day 2022

This World Health Day we’re helping education and training centres provide their learners and future learners with the chance to create a #healthiertomorrow. We tasked our qualifications team to  find qualifications within our portfolio that would support a healthier future. Take a look below to find out why our team think these qualifications are a great choice to celebrate World Health Day.

Access to HE qualifications prepare mature students for undergraduate study at university and are designed for people who left school without qualifications such as A-Levels. For learners keen to see economies focused on health and well-being then the following qualifications may be of interest.

  • Health and Social Care - perfect for anyone interested in influencing the provision and development of services.
  • Health Professions - looks at the roles and responsibilities of healthcare professionals, health promotion, mental health, eating disorders and social service provision.
  • Health Science - give learners the opportunity to develop their scientific knowledge and ability to consider health from a scientific perspective.
  • Healthcare - explore the legal, ethical, political, policy and personal boundaries of healthcare practice so learners are able to contribute to quality services in this sector.

Our flexible AIMVOCs mean learners can complete varying sizes of qualification and build up their achievements in incremental stages. Our Skills for Working in Health, Lifestyle and Science Industries qualifications are perfect for learners wishing to develop their skills and knowledge in a range of vocational areas including Animal Care, Business Administration, Customer Service, and in Catering and Hospitality.

The extensive suite of AIM Counselling Qualifications will suit aspiring and practising counsellors and promote healthier minds.

The reduction of violence is a clear choice for inclusion on this list. Violence is a cause of both mental and physical damage and can have long-lasting effects. The AIM Qualifications Suite of Violence Reduction Skills Qualifications teaches learners how to deal with violence in a variety of settings and how to reduce the risk of escalation.

So, there we have it, our picks of qualifications that we think are worth considering this World Health Day. Let’s join the call to make a #healthiertomorrow.

If you would like any more information on any of these qualifications or want to know more about becoming an AIM centre visit our contact us page to speak to a member of our team.
