AIM achieves Cyber Essentials certification for 2024

In celebration of Cyber Security Awareness Month, we're proud to announce that AIM has successfully passed the Cyber Essentials review for 2024, earning our certificate of assurance for the year ahead.

By meeting the stringent requirements of the Cyber Essentials scheme, AIM is recognised by the National Cyber Security Centre for taking robust and proportionate cyber security measures across our organisation.

The certification highlights our commitment to our centres and partners in maintaining strong policies and processes that protect our systems and data.

"Our Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates AIM’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding our digital infrastructure and ensuring the security of our centres and partners," said Ian Hartley, IT Manager at AIM. "As we strive towards achieving Cyber Essentials Plus, we’re further strengthening our cybersecurity measures, giving confidence to everyone we work with that we’re taking every step to protect their data."

Cyber Essentials Plus

AIM intends to maintain its Cyber Essentials certification over the coming year while progressing toward the more rigorous Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.

This advanced certification not only includes all aspects of the Cyber Essentials scheme but also requires a comprehensive, hands-on technical verification process.
