AIM make the FAB Finals
23 October 2023
AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group are thrilled to announce that we are finalists for the FAB Awards 2023, hosted by the Federation of Awarding Bodies. The nominations come in the following categories:
-
Awarding Organisation of the Year
This category focuses on what has made an organisation exceptional this year. The awarding organisation of the year will have done more than ‘business as usual’ and be able to showcase the contribution that awarding organisations make to education and skills in the UK.
-
AO/Employer Relationship of the Year - Home Group
This award recognises a successful collaboration between an awarding organisation and employer(s) that have developed excellent practice and/or leading-edge ideas, for the benefit of learners, the employer or the wider sector.
-
Learner of the Year - Emma McNaught
Recognising outstanding achievement of an individual learner who has demonstrated an enthusiasm for learning and has developed a high level of understanding and skill in their industry.
-
Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year
Awarded to an awarding organisation that has led an initiative that demonstrates social responsibility. This might, for example, be an initiative to support the well-being of the community, your employees, or learners or have an environmental impact to improve sustainability within your organisation or sector.
The FAB Awards recognise the contributions made by awarding organisations and their employees to education and skills in the UK over the past year. It’s the pinnacle awards ceremony, celebrating a world-class sector that issued more than 10 million certifications last year.
The 8th annual FAB 2023 Awards dinner will be held on 30 November, where AIM will be hoping for a winning nomination in all four categories.
