Taking a stand for a better built environment with retrofit

AIM joined partners, The Retrofit Academy, at Futurebuild 2023 to ‘take a stand’ for a better built environment and to celebrate excellence in the sector by sponsoring an award at the prestigious Retrofit Academy Awards.

Back at the ExCeL in London for 2023, Futurebuild is one of the industry’s biggest events of the year; providing the stage for ideas, innovation and knowledge sharing to drive sustainable construction that will help propel the industry towards a more sustainable future.

AIM were invited to take a stand at the three-day event with The Retrofit Academy, to promote our innovative suite of retrofit qualifications aimed at providing leading edge training and professional development to industry professionals.

On the third and final day of the event, AIM also recognised excellence in retrofitting across the market by sponsoring the Retrofit Academy Graduate Award category. AIM Interim Director for Business Growth and Transformation, Fabienne Bailey (pictured above), attended the ceremony and presented the award to the winner, Sofia Gentile, who was recognised for the hard work and passion she brings to her role at Innergio LTD. Congratulations to Sofia from all at the AIM Group!

There were eight awards presented in total on the evening of the event. To see details of all winners and award categories, please visit the Retrofit Academy’s website.
