AIM reveals new plans for growth
18 January 2022
AIM has today announced some significant news about the AIM Group which will increase the range of qualifications and ensure an even better experience for everyone involved in the delivery of AIM qualifications, and end-point assessments.
Following five consecutive years of growth, we are taking a further step forward to maximise and enhance the impact we have on learners. Last year, AIM established an ambitious strategic plan and can now share further details of how it intends to deliver this plan.
A larger, stronger organisation
AIM is delighted to announce its plans to merge with the Open College Network West Midlands who enjoy an excellent reputation built on high quality qualifications and services. They are based in the Midlands and have grown significantly in recent years. They boast a wide range of regulated qualifications and have over 35 years’ experience with Access to Higher Education Diplomas.
Our promise to you
Following the merger, centres will have access to everything they currently do in addition to everything that the Open College Network West Midlands deliver. The merged organisation will have a portfolio of qualifications that will double in size. We will continue to offer, and grow, our highly regarded end-point assessments and build on the international work of both organisations to strengthen our overseas offer and presence.
Next steps
The Boards of AIM Group and Open College Network West Midlands have formed a joint working party and we will keep everyone fully informed about progress.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or comments.
AIM looks forward to continuing our working relationship with all our colleagues and welcoming new ones.
