5 August 2021
The Department for Education has recently added the AIM Qualifications Level 3 Certificate in Counselling, to a list of qualifications that makes the qualification free to eligible adults. The qualification joins another AIM qualification, the Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work.
The list, now containing two qualifications from AIM Qualifications, provides details of Level 3 qualifications that are free to adults aged 19 or over, who do not already have a level 3 qualification. If learners are aged between 19 to 23 they may also be able to access additional qualifications for free.
The AIM Qualifications Level 3 Certificate in Counselling enables learners to work towards becoming a reflective practitioner of counselling by considering theories of human development, self-awareness, supervision and issues of difference and diversity. It also provides knowledge and understanding of the main core theories and theorists that underpin counselling and addresses the nature of psychological problems and how they may be approached.
