New look AIM
14 August 2019
Out with the old, in with the new
Over the past few years our organisation has grown and our portfolio expanded. Now, on the eve of a post-16 education reform, we have taken a proactive stance to ensure that AIM Awards is strategically aligned to deliver against the new framework.
After an extensive period of consultation, we are strengthening our offer, growing our team and repositioning ourselves to ensure our portfolio is robust and relevant to the needs of future learners, centres and industry.
As from the 2 September 2019, AIM Awards became AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group, shortened to AIM for simplicity. As you can see we also look different. We have a new brand and logo and of course a new website which we hope you will find much easier to navigate.
New certificates
A new range of contemporary certificates will be introduced for claims made after the 1 September for all our learners. However please be aware that whilst we update our systems, certification will stop on the 2nd September and restart again on the 16th September.
Handbooks and broken links
We are gradually re-branding all our qualification handbooks (specs). The most up-to-date versions will be available to download from our website. Whilst every care and attention has been given to ensure hyperlinks within handbooks and documents still work, we are anticipating that there may be some broken links. Please help us to rectify these issues by reporting them via email to enquiries@aim-group.org.uk stating which document and link is affected and we will put these right as quickly as possible.
