Counselling Placements in the Children and Young People Sector

The opportunity for learners to gain experience of live counselling work is essential to develop competencies and progress into the challenging world of professional counselling. 

To raise the skills levels of the next generation of counsellors, AIM Awards recognises that learners undertaking placements may have a particular interest in working with children and young people. 

To support this desire and unlike some Awarding Organisations, we have no restrictions in this area so learners who wish to specialise early in their development can.
