New innovative approach for international qualification gets AIM Awards approval
International Medical Education (IMEUK) has been granted the Ofqual recognised, Level 3 qualification for the Diploma in Medical Studies through AIM Awards.
IMEUK has been founded by Dr Mohan Pawa and Dr Keith Burn, both with a strong desire to assist aspiring students to successfully approach international study in higher education with the appropriate development of skills, knowledge and confidence. The concept for the Diploma was put before AIM Awards who were constructive in their support from the outset. The Diploma in Medical Studies is now ready to recruit students for an intake in October 2015.
On receiving the award Dr Burn said:
“This is a unique opportunity for aspiring medical students from around the world to gain the necessary stepping-stone to enter the very specialised world of medicine with confidence and the right level of skills including English language development. This will help students to make their dream of experiencing the world of medicine a reality. We are extremely proud to have started this journey and most delighted to see the value and credibility associated with UK qualifications has been further enhanced through AIM Awards support for this innovative, Ofqual recognised, Level 3 Diploma in Medical Studies’.
Students can choose to acquire the International Medical Education (IMEUK) qualification from being based in their home country, or in the UK. The qualification will provide aspiring medical students the necessary learning support including: science, maths, language and personal development skills to help them prepare successfully for entering the field of international medical education around the globe with confidence and the necessary fundamental knowledge.
