The aim of the presentation is it to look at the:
- Past state: lessons learned from the implementation of the Extraordinary Regulatory Framework in 2021-22 and the outcomes
- Current state: Arrangements for the award and assessment of the Access to HE Diploma in 2021-22
- Future state: What is the future for the Diploma? How can providers, students and other stakeholders be involved in driving the future of this Diploma (for example marketing, understanding the occupational landscape etc)

Access to HE Research Results (14:00hrs)

This session will take you through research on the lived experience of mature working-class women on an Access to HE course. During the session, we will be looking at how the stigmatization of people claiming benefits has led to a number of women returning to education along with how the government’s widening participation agenda suggests that individuals who work hard can become upwardly socially mobile has affected the various students who have started an Access to HE Diploma.
