We’re a friendly bunch from a range of different employment backgrounds including: FE and HE teachers and specialists, customer service, IT, the creative sector, and sector skills bodies (etc), whilst others have joined us straight from education. Find out more about us: Meet the team.

Flexible working

We love our flexible ways of working at AIM which means some of us work:

• full time from home
• full time in the office (in Derby or Wolverhampton)
• hybrid hours (split between home and the office)
• hours suited around our home life.

If this wasn’t enough, you will also receive a generous holiday allowance in addition to a full Christmas to New Year break! This makes for a great work-life balance and a very happy staff team.  

Training and Development

As a new member of the team, you will receive a ‘welcome induction’ to meet your colleagues and to learn about your new role. You’ll have regular meetings with your line manager to discuss training needs, and any support required for personal/professional development.

Staff representation AIM colleagues have the opportunity to have their voice heard regarding organisational matters that concern them through representation on our staff forum known as the Employee Representative Committee - the Chair of which is also an employee representative on the AIM Board of Trustees who provide comprehensive leadership and oversight of The AIM Group. Charity and the community The team like to get together throughout the year to support community and charitable causes such as International Women’s Day, Macmillan Coffee Morning, Christmas Jumper Day, collecting food donations for the Good Shepherd Ministry, and many many others!
